FROM THE FIRST B-24 TO THE CURRENT F-35

The presentation by Joe Stout will highlight the history of Air Force Plant 4 in Fort Worth, from 1942 to present. Joe will share facts about the evolution of the facility, its products and contributions to military aviation technology from the B-24 to today’s F-35. His presentation is rich with photos and memories.

Joe Stout is Director of Integrated Communications for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Grand Prairie, Texas, and is responsible for media relations, marketing communications, community relations and other PR functions. Previously he was Director of Communications for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, where he spent more than 25 years representing the F-16, F-22, F-35 and other aircraft programs in relations with the news media. Joe has worked as a newspaper reporter and has a keen interest in the history of the Fort Worth Lockheed Martin Plant, which he witnessed firsthand for many years. He is a native of Dallas, Texas.
